The Town has contracted with Alta Planning + Design to develop a Multi-Modal Bicycle, Pedestrian, Transit and Parking Action Plan to accelerate the Town’s action plan for bicycle, pedestrian, transit, and parking alternatives within the community. This Action Plan will include a recommended implementation strategy including priority projects, “quick victory” early implementation projects, cost estimates and funding mechanisms.

Alta Planning + Design Scope of Work

Get Moving to the Walk, Bike, Ride, Community Workshops

The community vision for Mammoth Lakes is to be a progressive and sustainable community that provides seamless access to key destinations in and around the immediate area of Mammoth Lakes utilizing a multi-modal system of transit, trails, and integrated mobility options.  If you share this vision then walk, bike or ride to the Town facilitated mobility workshops this December and help connect Mammoth Lakes with our public lands.
