Multiple entries encouraged, either in the same activity (most miles overall) or a variety of activities (most well-rounded).
We are encouraging everyone to participate in this FREE challenge. All ages are welcome and awards will be presented in multiple categories including most miles and most well-rounded. Every participant will also be entered into the draw for a ’lucky finisher’ prize. Stay tuned for sponsors and prize details!
Get outside Mammoth Lakes!
Step One: Commit to the 50 miles goal!
Get outside and get moving! Pick an activity and set of goal of 50 miles by March 31. Skiing, snowboarding, running, cycling, sledding, ice skating, x-country skiing, Nordic walking, etc. Multiple activities and or 50+ miles in one activity encouraged.
Step Two: Track those miles!
Download a free app and start logging your mileage. Make sure to link the app to your Facebook or Instagram accounts.
On your marks, get set, go! Try something new or log what you are already doing. Share your pics with us on Facebook (Mammoth Parks N Rec event page) or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step Four: Submit your mileage
Share your results with Instagram and/or Facebook and make sure to tag or mention Mammoth Parks N. Rec! For your social media tag/mention (@MammothParksNRec). in order for us to see your post, your account needs to be public.
