OPENING NIGHT - November 25

Come and celebrate the 2022/23 season opening of the Mammoth Lakes Ice Rink with FREE skating, including rentals (subject to availability).

FREE FRIDAY NIGHT COMMUNITY SKATE - December 2 and February 3

Free skating, including admission and rentals, during the evening session time (7:00pm-10:00pm) on the first Friday of each month.  

SKATE WITH SANTA - December 22

Once again, Santa will be stopping in at the Mammoth Ice Rink for skating and photographs before he sets off on his Christmas journey.

USFA NATIONAL ICE SKATING MONTH January 1 - 31

In January, United States Figure Skating (USFS) and the Mammoth Ice Rink invite you to 'discover the magic of skating' with National Skating Month. It is an opportunity to promote skating and invite new participants to the ice, and the Mammoth Ice Rink will be hosting FREE First Time Skate Assist lessons on Friday evenings throughout January.

MLK WEEKEND OUTDOOR HOCKEY TOURNAMENT January 13 - 16

Hosted by Mammoth Youth Hockey, in partnership with the Town of Mammoth Lakes, this tournament is open to 14U Bantum B, 12U Pee Wee B, 10U Squirt B, and 8U Mite B. For more information, please visit Mammoth Lakes Youth Hockey.

HOCKEY WEEK ACROSS AMERICA February 20 - 26

In 2023, USA's yearly nationwide initiative Hockey Weekend Across America - now in it's 15th year - will continue with a week-long celebration. Each day of Hockey Week Across America will include a theme, with individual days to salute players, coaches, officials, and local rinks, as well as the traditional themes of Wear Youth Favorite Hockey Jersey Day, Try Hockey Day and Celebrate Local Hockey Heroes.
