Shady Rest Park is open from May through November 1, as weather permits, and is located at the end of Sawmill Cutoff Road, approximately one-half mile from Highway 203 near Shady Rest Campground.

Winter Grooming
The groomed winter trails in Shady Rest are located right at the entrance to Town and are accessed from the Welcome Center and Ranger Station. This looped experience is shared with a variety of users, including snowshoers and dog walkers, so please be mindful of others and share the trails. Weather permitting, the trails are groomed 5 days a week and are free and open to the public. Learn more about this program by clicking here.
