Who is Horizon Air?
Horizon Air began operations in 1978 with 36 enthusiastic employees and two leased aircraft with service between Yakima, Pasco and Seattle. By 1986 the company's proven track record attracted the attention of larger airlines and was acquired by Alaska Airlines. Today, Horizon Air is about 4,000 employees strong and serves more than 45 cities in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Alberta.
